I’m adding a variation I’m not sure I’m doing this correctly.so I just pressed add variation and I selected my colors but it said “Consider using more distinctive colors in your patterns if possible, please (c=d, d=e). This pattern already exists as #11539, but can be added as its variation”. What does that mean? Thanks! |

For the first part it means that the colors might be hard for some people to tell the difference between. The second part always pops but when you’re adding a variation. You can just ignore it though.

Yes, as @x_x said the warning for similar colors is triggered when colors are too similar to each other, and need to have a little more contrast to distinguish from each other. The letters and equal sign is just telling you what specific string color is too similar to another string color. 🙂You can ignore the 'pattern already existing' warning when making variations. It only applies when you are creating a new pattern. 😉 |
