I got an idea: What about an EXP bar to know how much left before you rank up? I know that personally, it would motivate me a lot to be more active on BraceletBook. I'd know how much I make progress every day!

Personally I believe that it might make people too focused on ranking up. To me ranking up is not the main goal of being active on braceletbook, but more of a positive side effect, a small reward for being active. Putting more focus on ranking up by making it more visible how much there is left to the next rank might make people "spam" actions more.
