I was thinking of adding a ruler filter over the pattern to show what row you are on so no one looses their position when looking away , you would click on the right side to move the ruler filter up and down ( laptop or pc) and with mobile touch screen you tap on the right to move it up and down .It should have a ruler lock plus unlock feature (when pet steps on your device then it won't move your ruler ) and ruler compacity brightness level ( see throught or stable color ) , plus have a color selection due to some people probably can't stand bright neon colors or color blind people or other reasons . this was just a idea that I thought of to share with everyone ,hope it does no harm . |

how about like a string grader , it counts all the knots in the pattern then with camera feature it scans the thread thickness and tells how much centimeters of string you need to cut for the pattern due to your wished length of the bracelet that is measured wrist size ,yet it will have to have your knot reference to see how tight or loose you knot to correctly give an answer to you though.

ooh i love the ruler idea. i typically end up printing the patterns so i can put a piece of paper over what ive done to hold my place in it but id definitely use the ruler
