Hello! So I have put the keyword 'simple' in and submitted patterns but got it decline because of the keyword ,but there are patterns that were accepted recently that have the keyword 'simple' is this because the keyword didn't apply to my pattern?

No, we generally try to decline keywords that describe the difficulty level of patterns because that's very subjective. Sometimes we moderators make mistakes.
