The dimensions are all static pixels (which makes me wonder if this site was a student design initially?) instead of reactive/adaptive design so that's likely why. It is however vertical-align: middle; and in an inline block so it is centered nicely for me on my browsers. It's probably just wonky on some devices (especially smaller screens) because of not being adaptive. I love digging into the CSS on the site because it's preeeetty wild sometimes 😄
