so im thinking what if there was a block button in pm's on ppl for braceletbook like if sumone was being negitive towards you or not leaving you alone after you asked then bam blocked and you can either report them if you it was rlly that bad then their account gets banned and when you press the block button it will say sum like "why are you blocking this person" and you type in why and then if enough ppl block the same person for cyberbullying then maybe they will get banned? people stated that they dont think that the banning due to being blocked by a lot of ppl should be in the hands of bots and i 100% agree bc look how tiktok is i was thinking like when u press the block button and it asks you "why you are blocking them" you state why and if its cyberbullying then you can state a mods name and they can look into it maybe im not sure ive never done anything like this before so im prolly in over my head what do u guys think i would love to hear ur opinion if i get enough yes's and think that i have everything planned out i will go to mods and stuff@SusuKnots @-Liza- @emilyinnit @anna09123 @chlorox @xxSiennaxx @Kiwi_art @AriQueen @scorpmoon @IguanaGreg @BlueBug44 @yes_Liam i think thats everyone who helped this idea in some way shape or form |

I like the block option, but not the automatic ban part. I think it’s easier to just submit proof to the mods and have them ban them

Yeah I think that's an awesome idea! I think that being able to block certain people, or at least silence their notifications for a while would be nice. I think we should have an "unblock" button too though an be able to have the option to still hear from them in chat if you'd like to.

I think the auto block is not a good idea, because you could have a group of people who just don't like someone and say that they're a bully or something when in reality they just don't get along or have the same opinions on things. For example if I were to see a pro choice or pro life pattern on braceletbook, and I didn't agree with this opinion and I just had the free ability to say they're a bully without needing actual proof, that'd be a serious problem because we would have people getting banned for no reason other than sharing their own voice an opinion.

Automatic ban*** not block!! Alsooo I think that the block an ban should be completely sepeate from eachother and the block button would be in the same place as the friend request / message button on their profiles. If that makes sense. And if there's a ban section it should have a section where you have the option to write text about why they should be banned, and add multiple photos as proof of bullying such as screenshots so that we wouldn't have to email the mods specifically on something other than braceletbook because it'd be much easier in my opinion. And I think that since so much of the people on bb are really young, their parents or guardians would probably prefer that they do not send an email to some random person they don't really know. Like ya I get they're a mod but I think strict parents would be an issue there.

yus @emilyinnit made a good point in pm's abt how there should be photo proof of the bullying what i meant tho guys is that u can block someone and you have to state why if it is cyberbullying then we should need to use photos like emily said and then @ a mod that way the mod can look into it but dont worry this post is just a rough draft and i will come out with a second post talking abt all the details once i have it all figured out |
