Can I change one of my patterns to make a similar pattern?

Hello, I have seen that some users on Bracelet Book have designed some very similar patterns. Is there a way to edit a pattern that I have made and make it into a new pattern so that I have 2 similar patterns? I hope that you understand my question. 😊

Hi, after a pattern is accepted, you can no longer edit its knotting structure. In this case you will need to copy the knotting structure knot-by-knot. But if you haven't submitted the pattern yet, you can copy its knotting structure and just paste it into a new pattern. When you do that, keep our rule about pattern series in mind: https://blog.braceletbook.com/242_new-guidelines-for-pattern-series/ |

Thank you, I also have another question not related to the topic that I created. I sent a message to someone and tagged them in the message, but when I sent it, it crossed the username out, why is that? |

@happyrobin I think that the username may have been misspelled? A username is crossed out then you tag a user that does not exist.
