How do I do that? When I tried merging two colours in a variation (in both alpha and normal patterns) it won't allow me to submit my variations because of the colours being the exact same. For example a while ago I made #40816 but I want to make a variation where the wave is only one colour (such as in my creation). Is there a way to merge colours without this warning coming up?

You can’t merge colors in an alpha but you can in a normal. To do this, you have to re type the order of the strings that are represented by letters. For example, if the order is AABB and you want the B strings to be the same color as the A strings, instead of changing the color, retype the order so it is AAAA. Hope that makes sense.

There are two other ways you can merge colors in a normal pattern variation. You can make the hex codes the same on the main page of the variation, go to the interactive page and click “save”, then go back to the main page. You can also go to the interactive page and select the color that you’d like the strings to be, then click the strings that you’d like to merge.
