This feature just doesn’t make much sense to me. i know that there are bigger problems but I just thought I would share : ) let me know what you think tho

It is a protective measure to avoid users spamming others with low ratings.A user who has just joined cannot spam others with low ratings. Not allowing users who just joined giving bad ratings helps avoid users joining just to give bad ratings or even creating multiple accounts to do that. A user who has ranked up all the way is less likely to do it in the first place because they are more attached to their account and spamming negative ratings could lead to a ban because it violates our guidelines. |
