Creating New Pattern Problem

I am fairly new on this website and I don't really understand why when I try to skip/leave out one of the strings on the sides (as most patterns do), the program won't let me skip on the right side as it does on the left. I suspect I'm not doing it correctly but it also could be a problem with the program. Can anyone help me out because it's essential to the pattern I'm trying to upload. Thanks!

okay, now i have a different problemthe bracelet im trying to make takes 12 strings. i put the abc color order in with 12, but when i click save & test the program adds a 13th string. the 13th string doesn't interact with any other string and is just a straight line, and i tried to get rid of it any way possible and then tried submitting it anyway and it was denied. i cant get rid of the 13th string and would like some help. thanks! |

I think your first row might have an extra arrow? Maybe that is why it is adding an extra string?

I double checked and that's not the case. There's 6 knots for 12 strings. It's like the 13th string magically appears with no purpose.

@toboden You have to make sure that if it’s twelve strings you have 6 knots on one row, then 5 knots on the next etc rather than 6 then 6.
