Delete Old Messages?

Am I just oblivious or is there no way to delete old inbox messages? I’ve always wondered this but never posted. I’ve got 4 year old messages in my inbox from users who aren’t active anymore and would love to clear that out but I don’t see a way to?

Hello, there currently is no way to delete your old messages 🙁. When you open up a conversation, all the messages are being marked as read, so it also resets the messages badge number, and changes colour to 'read' in the conversations list. It shouldn't bother you that you have unread messages anymore, but I understand you'd like to clean up your conversations list a bit. I added this to our to-do list, and will look into it when our higher priority tasks are done. Thank you 🙂.
