@nev_m_07 its not just black lives as you see above, and dang i didn't know all that other stuff happened, i only knew what you put on the old police posts @Deer-Teeth .

and yes, a lot of people don't care anymore. if i go on my personal account and see the people who preached blm at the first few months have deleted all of those posts or don't post about that anymore. because it was for clout. i understand for you it's different but you see what i mean

@Vulture I definitely see what you mean. It was actually getting really annoying for me last year when everyone was saying black lives matter, and even though I am black and I support black lives matter, there's a difference between just saying and doing. I do agree that people were using it for clout, especially big corporate companies and things.

@DeerTeeth wow I'm so sorry about what happened to your friend. And your mom. You make a very good point that we need stricter gun laws. I didn't really touch on this because no one else was really talking about it, but I do agree that most of the violence and people being killed is because people who shouldn't have guns are allowed to just walk into a store and buy them, no credentials needed. It really sucks that this has been a problem for such a long time. Minorities in general are being killed over stupid things, especially those who don't speak english very well. I mean how many lives have to be lost before the government realizes that this problem needs to be resolved?! The people in general need to be limited on weapons and they need to be educated against racial biases. I don't know why there's this constant struggle for equality. How is the US going to claim in their declaration of freaking INDEPENDENCE that "all men are created equal." they're just lying to all of us. At the time that it was written in the 1700s, it only applied to wealthy white slave owning men. No one else. It's because of this that these racial disparites and injustices are so present in our society. Why are we basing the foundation of our country off of a contradictory piece of paper that's more than 200 years old?! It's an inaccurate representation of our people, and it's reminiscent of unethical, unfair practices that were conducted at the time. We shouldn't be dwelling on the racist practices from the past. Injustice towards BIPOC, Asian people, and LGBTQ+ people needs to stop. We need to realize that there isn't just one "right" way to live, or to love. If we're going to call ourselves a "free" country, we need to understand that people deserve the right to their own liberties. The constitution gives us the "unalienable rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," so we need to let people do what makes them happy. We need to let them live.

Disabling comments has been on admin's to-do list for a while and I am sure he will soon do it because it is commonly requested and will be very useful 🙂 but I do not think it will affect the current rules.
