Hi BraceletBoook, I have some suggestions. 🙂

1. When an artist submits a pattern, could there be a box displayed after the pattern preview but, before the knotting map. The box could display an optional, permanent comment from the artist either giving inspiration credit (including the ability to tag a user), color recommendations, or tips on attaining the best result when making the pattern.

2. Could artists have a one-time option to allow or disallow comments on a pattern they submit? This is a very common feature on a popular video streaming site supported by BraceletBook. This is especially true for accounts owned by kids. I'm not naming that website specifically because I know there are rules against mentioning other sites.

3. Could all users be granted a feature where notifications are sorted into categories (i.e. ratings + loves, comments, rewards, forum responses, other)? I find it harder to navigate the site when you are anticipating a specific type of notification (i.e. a forum response) but, you have to sift through so many comments. I imagine this is even harder for pattern creators to engage in other aspects of the site when other users are entertaining an endless argument in the comments section of their pattern.

I really like idea 1! Cuz a lot of people get upset about there being no credit if there’s an existing font pattern used for the pattern or if it is taking someone else’s idea or other things, when there really is credit but it is just buried in the comments.

i like this idea! maybe it could be like a caption on the pattern that you fill out before submitting it. that way when a pattern is being reviewed the mods can make sure that the caption makes sense and is appropriate for the pattern being submitted!
