beginners—friend requests and chat

I think beginners should be able to make friend request and type in the chat.

hey! the reason why beginners are not able to write in the chat is because awhile back, there were problems with people making multiple accounts just to spam inappropriate messages in the chat. increasing the rank to advanced helps alleviate this issue because users will need to spend time on the site and rank up before they can write in the chat. as for sending friend requests, i am not 100% sure why it is not available to users ranked beginner. but as for now, you can still accept friend requests from other users. it does not take long for users to rank up to advanced if they are active. for example, posting in the forum, posting patterns and variations, posting photos, and rating/loving patterns are great ways to rank up. as long as you are contributing positively to the community in these ways, you'll be able to chat and send friend requests soon! 🙂 |
