This usually happens to me when I’ve pressed the back/return button ( < ), so the only thing you could really do would be to press the go back button ( > ) (I’m almost 100% sure I’m making up the names of these buttons, but hopefully you know what I’m talking about.) Basically, you have to be on the most “present” page. You’ll know you’re there when the > button turns gray and you can’t press it anymore.

Just a warning though, this may change your pattern to a different form because you were editing your pattern on an old page, so you may want to take a screenshot first before you do this.

Can you describe in which way it is not working? The section on red warnings might be helpful if your pattern disappears when clicking safe and you are on the normal page of the normal pattern generator. You can come across similar issues on the alpha page of the alpha pattern generator. https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/140_normal-pattern-warnings-and-how-to-fix-them/ If keywords disappeare when clicking safe that means that those are not acceptable keywords. Colours for example are not acceptable and for this reason most of them are blocked so we don't need to decline an unnecessary big amount of patterns. If you are on the interactive normal generator or draw alpha what the save button should do is save the pattern so when you go back to normal or to alpha the pattern should stay the same. |

The save button does not submit the pattern btw. You can only submit a pattern when on the normal or alpha page of the generator you're on. There you need to add at least four keywords and tick the share rights box before you can click submit.
