@Admin I hate to say this but i think you should remove rating, bcoz many patterns are getting too much hate! I have rated many patterns 1 star by mistake, i feel really bad and so does the creator of the pattern. This is the only downside of this website 😭. Pls fix this

I think it would be better for people to be able to change their rating if they rate it wrong or rate it low accidentally. Sorry, I just dont think removing ratings altogether is a good idea.

@PugCakePop I agree too but some of the pro life and pro choice patterns are getting too much hate, maybe they can remove 1 and 2 star options?

@gecko_girl yes i understand that, a lot of people including me have suggested disabling comments and ratings for prolife/prochoice patterns

I disagree, Usually when people search for patterns they go from highest rating or most loves to find good patterns. As for pro-choice and pro-life I wouldn't even accept those patterns, it always ends with argument.

The thing you have to understand is that when you create specific patterns on topics such as BLM and the pro-choice thing you're gonna get bad ratings. if you don't want bad ratings then dont post those!!! There are people who will rate patterns badly just because they're a political topic, removing rating because you don't like that you're getting bad ratings like that ist fair to other patterns who have nothing to do with that.

I think making the minimum amount 3 stars is a good idea, because patterns that are actually 1 or 2 stars deserving wouldn’t even be accepted

i agree with this. i use the app a lot so when i click on a pattern sometimes i will move my hand weird and it will press the rating button. i always feel really bad because i know how it feels to have your patterns rated by 1 star. i think that the more controversial patterns get tons of 1 star ratings and even if i don't agree with the pattern i still feel bad for the creator because they just wanted to share something they made. also it puts the pattern further on the page when you order by ratings so really awesome patterns may not be seen because of a couple bad ratings.
