Linking notifications and photos

It would be nice if:1a) users could be taken directly to the thread in which they have commented and someone replied, when they tap on a reply/mention in their Notification tab. At the moment, it seems that one can either only read the reply (if the user who posted is mentioned) in the Notification tab, or by going to the Forums tab, and finding the thread in which the reply was posted. 1b) a similar issue seems to exist when users receive notifications about a picture submission being accepted; users have to either go to their own user pages or to the pattern’s page to see the accepted photo. 2) users could be taken to the user-page of the user who uploaded a specific picture, by tapping on their name (this does not seem possible from the Photos tab on the app). |

I’m able to directly click on forums, photos, and users in my notifications while using the website. I’ve never used the app though, so I don’t know if it’s the same. I just click on the orange word(s) and I’m able to get there directly

I can also click directly on the pattern and user from the photos tab on the website. Again, though, I have no clue what the app is like

@oceanknot alas, it does not work on the app. At least not the ios version.

Oh ok, good to know. I just use the website on my mobile devices because it has way more features and I honestly never understood why people use the app. If the app is easier for you to use/you like it better though, than I can see why this feature would be helpful

@zoeyllm I've discovered they work on the browser format of BB, but not the App version, so that's my current work around.

Not sure if this problem is unique to my experience, but it seems that the BB app does not seem to display colour variations of a pattern on the same page as the pattern.

There are a few features of the website that aren’t viewable on the app- the pattern generators, photo, forum, chat and comment hyperlinking from notifications, pattern hyper linking from the forums/chat, as well as variations and loves and the ‘similar patterns’ list on a pattern’s page.
