Hello! I was wondering what kind of things you can do to get you banned. Not that I WANT to get banned, but rather want to make sure I DON'T get banned 😂 I'm wondering because I remember reading a forum post a while back about someone who rated a few patterns in a row really low, and then they were banned. If that happens, would it be the same if you rate or love too many patterns in a row? Also, can you get banned for swearing or cursing(not that I do but yeah 😛)?

hey! yes, users can get banned for cursing or swearing a lot, and if they do any other form of inappropriate behavior, such as bullying, harassing, or otherwise being rude to users. as far as getting banned for rating patterns low, yes users can be banned for that reason, but only if they refuse to stop after a warning from the admin. also, banning is the closest option to deleting an account, so if a user decides that they do not want their account anymore, admin can ban their account if requested from the user. i hope that helps! 🙂

So one can get banned for not liking a pattern (and thus giving it a low rating)? wow

@minutcraft im pretty sure you can get only get banned for rating patterns low if you rate a bunch of patterns low

@minutcraft No, no, if you don't rate anything at all it's fine, but if you rate a bunch of patterns a 1 or 2 star you have a chance of getting banned from what I've learnt. So I guess you can say if you're gonna spam rate patterns then spam rate them all 5s or 4s, or don't bother rating at all and you shouldn't get banned. Rating a few now are fine though, I think the main concern is that someone might make a new account just to make someone else's patterns get lower ratings.

They're pretty normal rules, just don't swear, discuss sensitive topics or be rude to other users and you'll be fine. I'm pretty sure you have to try really hard to get banned 😊

I know at least 1 user asked to be banned so that’s another way. But no, I’ve had one of my posts taken down and I wasn’t banned so I think they’re reasonably chill about it

@minutcraft if you would for example spam rate a bunch of lgbt patterns by one star or a bunch of religious patterns by one star you could get banned because we don't accept people who hate on others for who they are or their religion or similar things. The same goes for spam rating patterns by someone you got in an argument with. I think this could be summed up to "don't use negative ratings to be hateful towards others and don't use them as revenge/weapon".
