i personally love this idea, but many argue that the site would become too competitive. maybe it could be tested?

I'm worried that if this function is added to the site, it will become too competitive. There are already many websites where you can like and comment on photos, like Facebook and Instagram and since something like this would probably be very time consuming, I don't see this as a good idea. Additionally, there are other ways of showing your like for photos, including tagging them in the comments section. Many users would probably prefer being given praise in the comments section rather than by a like since it feels less sincere.

@minutcraft If you are on your phone, you can hold down on the image and a “save image” button will appear. When you press it, the picture gets saved to your camera roll. If you are on the computer, you should be able to right click and select “save image as” to save it onto your computer.

I agree with what @zoeyllm. If you take the time to write out a message to someone in the comments, rather than just pressing a button, then it feels so much more meaningful and heartfelt. I also feel like there would be no actual use to having a like feature. So we can like people's photos. What use does that give us? It doesn't offer anything interesting or anything useful or nessesary. I am sorry, but i am going to have to say this isn't a good idea.
