I think it would be a fantastic idea to only be able to rate the pattern for you have submitted a photo of the finished pattern. A lot of patterns have HUNDREDS of rude comments that are nothing but hate, and the ratings are low. If commenting and rating could only be allowed if you finished the pattern that would be great. Even if just the ratings were controlled by if you submitted a photo to the pattern. @Admin |

I think it would still be nice to comment on patterns that I haven’t made because I like to say “good job” or “ I like the colors”. I won’t be able to give compliments if I have to make the bracelet in order to comment. An alternative option to your idea would be to turn off the comments of your patterns to prevent hate.

Yes a lot of patterns r receiving hate rn but I feel like I would want to rate patterns and I would want others to rate my patterns.

@allysalina it’s all the controversial patterns that are getting hate. The only way to stop it is to not allow it unless you make the pattern because people like you and I don’t agree on some things and some people blow up patterns and the creators don’t need hate. Trust me, I would want ratings, but people can make my patterns then rate them.

@allysalina and most patterns don’t get rating unless people make them anyway. Ratings are supposed to be for the people who make the pattern, not for haters, that’s why I think this would be a good addition

Or hI feel like this would be too much work) the mods would be able to turn off ratings on controversial patterns such as prochoice or prolife if it’s that important which I personally don’t think it’s very important but we all have different opinions so maybe being able to turn off ratings or comments on certain patterns would help? Idk I just don’t see the need because when you post a controversial pattern you should expect the ratings and comments and it’s your choice wether or not you wanna post that pattern

that is a good idea but i personally think that maybe you could have the ability to turn comments off instead. that way we can still compliment people and stuff but if the comments are getting hateful maybe you can just turn them off. also i don't mean to shut down your ideas or anything and i'm just sharing my opinion about what you said 🙂
