Yes. I had left 20 cm for the first tie but I had a little extra as I wanted a short tie. I assume that if I had left 15cm for the first tie I would have had enough for the second tie. Does this make sense because I’m not sure I am explaining it too well.

It worked amazingly!!! I had 2 inches of scrap thread only! I used the exact measurements that u gave me and the knotted part came out to a full 6 inches 🙂

@2006_Mandy I understood that your second tie was a bit shorter but which length did you manage to do it? Also, was there a color that you had much longer/shorter strings left at the end?

I’m not sure all I know is that my first tie is one inch longer than the second and I ran out of the blue strings I had used

Anyways I am making a collection of them so on my next one I will use the same measurements I will just leave 15cm for the first tie instead of 20cm and see if that leaves enough string

@2006_Mandy Ok thank you for the feedback! So overall I understand that it was a good approximation but not perfect for you. I hope you'll continue giving me feedback when you do the next bracelets of this collection!

Would those measurements be for each individual string, or for one string that I can then fold in half.

@CakeCup This is the length of the strings that you'll fold in half

I just measured the knotted part of the bracelet I made and it was 4 inches and not 5 inches which means that I would have run out f thread completely if I had knotted 5 inches.

@2006_Mandy Ok, that's weird... I'll try recalculating the lengths tomorrow to see if I did a mistake.

Hi! Do you think I could do it with pattern #27381? I'm planning to make it with one triangle end in the beginning and one at the end with twisted ties! I am going to make the knotted part around 15cm long! Thanks! -Cooper10

It worked for me😄😄 After knotting the bracelet to the full 5 inches, I had enough string for the tie at the end and even after I did the tie I had about 3-4 inches of string left. 😄
