Idk. If I was a kid on here just trying to make bracelets and make some friends I would be pretty upset if some people who didn’t know me decided what I’m mature enough to do you know? I get that it’s not always safe but kids shouldn’t be banned as it would take away a sense of community and making bracelets. Idk what you can really do to keep them safe tbh. Like I feel like if they messaged a adult or got scared it’s kinda there fault for being online. Any 8 year old should know that. Maybe when you join bb there would be a disclaimer Taligent about internet safety and stuff like that so when they get an account they are aware even if they are small. They could also add a read to you button for the kids who can’t read yet but I don’t think there are many on here anyway. Idk just an idea. I don’t think an age should be required for privacy reasons🙂

I use a different website that is under COPPA, users under the age of 13 could only use pre-determined messages but can still use the site.
