I read the blog post and agree with it completely, but I think that “skiller” should be the rank that we can access the chat with. Mainly because it’s very very easy to advance to the “advanced” rank. For me it took only one day, and all I did was ask and answer a few questions on the forum. All the troublemakers have to do is post something in the forum or rate a pattern, and they will advance, so it will be easy for them to access the chat, and cause more trouble. It's a bit harder to advance to "skiller" and maybe by then the person will help the community, not try to ruin it. But this can also make it harder for genuine, new people to socialize. Please consider @Admin, @halokiwi, @krazyknots, @clairehair and all the other mods. 🙂

Hi, we still want to keep the chat as accessible as possible while also having some restrictions. If someone gets banned they can't start being rude right away with a new account but they will have to wait a few hours.I think the advantage of making the rank higher is not worth the restriction it puts on well meaning users who just want to connect with others. |
