Deleting Notifications and Messages

I have pages of notifications that I don't need anymore. I think a good idea for this site would be that you could delete specific notifications you don't want anymore. That way you don't have a bunch of random notifications that aren't useful at all. I think that this would also be another very useful idea for messages. People will message me for like 3 messages and then I don't need the messages anymore. It gets kinda annoying to have a bazillion messages I don't need anymore. I think that this would be a very good addition to the site and look forward to maybe seeing it get implemented.

Hi, I think notifications disappear after a while. I have 25 pages of notifications and the oldest is from a week ago. I'm not sure if the disappearing is based on time or amount of notifications.

And for the messages the newest one is always on top so it should be easy to navigate.
