So I saw a forum post about doubling patterns and now I want to add a little bit to my last post if you saw it. So I think the idea of being able to copy a pattern you created is still a feature that should be added, but I have a few more suggestions. So I think that maybe you should be able to copy an actual pattern, like one that is actually submitted. Like for pattern #23286 I had to make the exact knots of the pattern through the draw alpha which is a little bit hard and then change it to look like my cats if you look at my photo of that pattern so I think it would be a good idea to be able to copy a pattern that is made if you want to change it or double it easier.

Hi, I think this used to be possible at some point if I'm not mistaken but people would make small changes to patterns and then submit it as new patterns. It would be a lot of work for us moderators if people could do that nowadays. But I agree that being able to use your own patterns in this way would be really useful.

Yes! This idea is defientely needed but being able to change patterns slightly would mean lots and lots more patterns being made. so maybe if it were at least possible it alter a pattern or duplicate it multiple times without being able to submit it to the site that would be a better solution

@2006_Mandy yea I was going to say that but I wasn’t sure if it would work because idk if mods accept a pattern doubled or altered but I’ve seen slightly altered versions of patterns in photos so I think they do accept them.

I wish you could some how copy normal patterns so I could add forward and backward knots to it for the straight edges technique. Obviously I wouldn’t post it but it’s just easier to follow along.

@Faye102 oh yea that’s a good idea too! Maybe there should be like an option to add the straight edges technique to a bracelet. If there was an ability to copy patterns then you wouldn’t really need that feature tho
