Variation Limit?

I haven’t added any variations today, but when I hit the ‘add a variation button,’ I suddenly get a notification that says I’ve reached my variation limit for the day. Is this a bug? Also, is there really a limit? This is the first time I’ve encountered this.

There is a daily limit on how many variations you can submit each day, this is put in place to reduce the amount of work for the mods. The limit will increase when you move up in the ranks. Unfortunately the limit is based off the amount of times you click the add a variation button rather than the amount of times you submit a variation.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, I hit the variation button several times but hadn’t actually submitted anything today. Strangely enough, I was just able to do a variation.

It’s based on a 24-hour interval. So if you’ve clicked “add a variation” five times in the last 24 hours, you can’t add another variation, even if all five of those times were yesterday. But if, after a few hours, you’ve now only clicked it four times in the last 24 hours, you can add another variation. I hope that makes sense haha

Thanks! That makes sense. Is five the actual limit or just an example? I couldn’t find any detailed info about the different perks of each rank.

What’s the variation limit for each rank? Is it five for bracelet kings or does ranking up not have anything to do with the limit and it’s five for everybody no matter their rank?

@BeachyEm I don’t know the exact limit, but as a bracelet king, I’ve never hit it like I did at lower ranks. 😊

@BeachyEm I currently don't remember what the limit is, but it is higher than five for braceletking. Currently, the higher your rank, the more variations you can add.

@BeachyEm I think once I did 19 or 20 maybe 18. Five is definitely not the limit unless you are a beginner or maybe advanced
