So when you got I someone’s profile, there’s a number on the upper right. What does that mean? And how do you check what’s yours?

It is the award for challenges it says how many challenges someone has done to check yours you just go to your profile

to earn a reward, check out any challenges with the word “Official.” monthly challenges are hosted by the admin, and weekly challenges are hosted by a moderator

It's a reward. You can earn them for reporting site and app problems to the Admin and Mods, reporting duplicate patterns, and you can also earn them if you complete a challenge!
