I would suggest patterns on the skinnier side. Maybe 2-10 strings. Like #39684 #26155 #16194 #6390 #26678 #44751 #42235 . (Hope I typed all those correct). Don’t forget to make them longer than usually because an ankle is most likely bigger than your wrist. Hope this is helpful 🙂

Thats a cute idea! I would defo suggest normal patterns over alphas. Do a rough comparison between your wrist size and your ankle size. Mine is about 1.5x my wrist so I would cut my strings that much longer. Oh and also think about what kind of closure you would like! And adjustable one might last longer than one you have to knot cause your leg moves more than your hands I suspect. But then, you probably also have a preference of what kind of closure you find comfortable! |

I recently made an anklet with pattern #30300 and it turned out really cute! I used a wingspan of thread for each string and had a lot of string left over so you could probably get away with using less if you try it.

I do thinner ones just like Chinese stair cases and square knots bracelets but #28009 is a pretty thin ish one that I like

I have been look into for patterns to make anklets out of as well! I would suggest the Chinese staircase as well as #17297 and #38595
