Hey there! I’m curious on how to make a loop when the colors are different on each side? Pattern #47897 is an example of what I am talking about. I mainly use pearl cotton so I would prefer a method for that kind of string if possible. Thank you! ☺️

This video might help! Masha teaches how to make a loop when there's different colours on each side. I adapt this technique whenever i need to do a loop like the pattern you're asking abouthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IyGiKsjNJM |

empatheo has a few youtube videos on how to make loops with different strings on either side. the technique that he uses is much better than what masha shows, in my opinion. and, it works if your string is non divisible, so pearl cotton would work just fine. anyways, here are the links.https://youtu.be/y0eFVti4f5o https://youtu.be/oEDPB-tCcAg I didn't look at that pattern too closely, so I'm not exactly sure, but I think that the first video would work just fine, but there is that other one just in case. hope this helps. |

so, update and some things I forgot to mention. that first technique would work, so ignore that swcond video link. also, this definitely isnt a beginner technique, so I wouldn't recommend it if you arent that experienced in bracelet making. and lastly, if you need any more help or if that video is confusing at all, I would definitely write out a worded explanation for that pattern specifically just to make it less confuisng. just let me know and I would be happy to do that. hope this helps.

@srhamy28 thank you for the video! It was exactly what I was looking for and extremely visual which is how I learn best! I have been making bracelets for years now but I have always avoided these kind of patterns because I could only find tutorials with embroidery thread that needed to be separated. Thank you again ☺️
