Could you be a bit more specific? How do they look weird?

It takes a little practice to get your knots even, if that's what you mean by weird. Make a few bracelets and give yourself some time, and you're bracelets should start to look neater 🙂

I’m doing #47634 so it’s basically a chevron but it turns out like crooked

Maybe try segment knotting? It's much easier than row by row and gives better results. Maybe try pulling your knots tighter? Also, start with simple patterns such as #6 #16 #18 #117 and #147. I hope this helps! 🙂

Any! It's more preference based. 🙂

With segment knotting you can start on either side!

Your bracelet might also be turning out crooked because it's easier for you to make either forward or backward knots. When I first started out, my forward knots were neater than my backward knots because I'm dominant with my right hand and it took some time for me to get used to backward knots

with that pattern it is basically a reverse chevron. so you first make a connecting knot in the middle, and then you make backward knots going from the center to the left and you make forward knots going from the center to the right. however, starting with the white reverse chevron it’s a little bit different. you still do a reverse chevron, but you change a couple knots according to the pattern. another thing that may help your bracelet be neater is to make a triangle start. because the pattern is literally built like a reverse chevron, which is what a triangle start is intended for and is in the shape of, it will be easier for you to make the pattern neatly. masha knots has a youtube tutorial on triangle starts/ends. also be sure to have tight and consistent knot tension. i hope this helps and feel free to message me or tag me @arf820 if you need any more help! 🙂

😇 You can try the straight edges technique. Masha knots has a tutorial on YouTube on that topic.

A good segment knotting tutorial is by Masha Knots btw. Also your bracelets should start to look less crooked as you practice more
