alpha edge color switch

so basically i was making this alpha. at one edge was white that you make one forward backward knot at and hte other once that you make a forward backward knot is black. i dont understand how to switch the colors. if you dont know what i mean, message me. ill try and send a picture somehow because im really confused and i cannot find any tutorials on how to do it

if you are doing the flat alpha technique, do not use it for color switched on the edge. use the regular color switching method by placing your current leading string behind the bracelet. bring your new leading string out and simply make a knot onto the edge base string. and continue knotting as normal. if you want to see this done, masha knots explains it in her youtube tutorial on flat alphas. hope that helps! 🙂

One suggestion I have is watch Masha Knots flat alpha tutorial on YouTube. It explains everything about switching colors and all of that! Hope this helps!!

Remember that you always need to do two bf or fb knots right after eachother at the edge. The first knot is your first colour and the second knot is your second colour. Also remember to use the regular colour switch instead of the flat alpha switch if you're doing the flat alpha technique.
