hi!! Not a question so much as I want your opinion: do you prefer doing alphas or normals, and why? I’ve been considering learning how to do alphas since there are so many more options, but I don’t know if it’s worth taking the time to learn. I’ve made tons of normals, so I’m pretty familiar with knotting and bracelet making, so I don’t know how long it’d take to catch on to how to do alphas 🤷🏽♀️ |

@grcleven I prefer normal patterns because they are the first thing I learned and I think they look really cool. I recently tried making an alpha and I caught on pretty quick. I watched masha knots flat alpha technique and it was fairly easy. I would say it is worth the time and effort, but I still like normals better.

Do you happen to know what the specific kind of keyring that people use for keychains are called? They are the ones with a clasp at the top and are shaped like a swiss roll if it was hollow at the bottom. I'm sorry this is my best description of it that I can think of so I understand if it is confusing or unclear.

hope you dont mind me answering this! @gisellemar I think you mean swivel clasps, though if you just google keychain clasp you will also get them as a result (amongst other types of keychian clasps) |

@EWL in the challenge it should say what to do otherwise just ask on the forum as for official challenges you post a picture to the pattern and write challenge in it to get your reward
