If you are talking about changing the color of the original pattern, you could always make a variation. Variations do take some time to get reviewed so if you need it right now you could just make a variation a not submit it.

You can make a variation. If you don’t want to make a variation and submit it make one then save it and you can always go back to it with the colors saved and everything
