You do the same thing you’d do for triangle ends with an even number of strings, the triangle will just be asymmetrical

You need to pick a knot that will be the tip of your triangle. Unlike with a bracelet with an even amount of strings it can't be right in the middle but it doesn't really matter because the technique stays the same. It helps to draw the triangle into your pattern either on a screenshot or on the printed out pattern.

I usually just add an extra string either in the middle or on the end of a triangle depending the pattern
