Teach them the chevron first so that they can learn forwards and backwards knots!

Totally agree with @Paige_1 said if they have never made a bracelet before. But, if you want patterns to teach them after they've learned the basic knots, here are some great options:#41435 #3214 #26065 and #39842 is VERY simple just slightly more difficult than a traditional chevron Hope this helps! ❤️ |

i would also recommend a chinese staircase and/or candy stripe to teach forward knots

once they get good at the chevron teach them the fish bone chevron the first row is a chevron and the 2nd row is forward and backwards knots masha knots has a tutorial and it is pretty simple to follow

You should teach them the chevron first, and then if you go to the main patterns page and set the older to be oldest first, the first patterns that come up will be good beginner ones

The Chinese staircase, Chevron and Candy stripe are all great beginner patterns
