I'm relatively new to alpha's, but found out that if you use more than two colours (base and main string) the back gets ugly with strings going diagonally accross the back 🙈 .
Is there a trick or technique to prevent this? Braiding in different colours or so?
Thnx!!

There is no way to avoid ugly alpha backs. If it bothers you you could sew on a piece of fabric to cover the strings

you can cover it with a piece of felt to cover the back 🙂

If it is only two colors, you can make one color the base strings and use a technique where you knot with the base strings (I’m pretty sure there’s a tutorial in the tutorials section that has all the ways to do alphas and includes this) hope that helps!

I mean you can cut the strings after each colour switch but that’s a bit annoying I think
