i need help segment knitting this one bracelet i don’t understand how to i keep in messing up it is pattern 26816

Other than that there’s not too much I can tell you...you can start with a double triangle beginning right before the white triangles (idk if this makes sense)

It’s hard to explain over text, but basically just find continuous diagonal lines in the pattern (like the four white ones at the beginning and the purple ones underneath). Make all the knots that are above the lines, then make the lines. And keep in mind that there’s usually no single correct way to segment knot a pattern

thanks i know how to i just messed up on this one in the order of the knots and sometimes i would make knots that blocked other knots i had to make sorry if that’s confusing but thank you

It might be helpful to print out the pattern and then color over each knot right after you do it, that’s what I do when I’m having trouble with a pattern. Also just so you know, you have to tag someone for them to get a notification that you responded to them

I am kind of a beginner, but i am great at alphas. What i want to know is how to begin segment knotting bracelets, like where do you start?

@Oyin1606 It depends on the pattern and the type of start you did (teardrop loop, triangle ends, etc). I recommend starting a pattern and just sort of playing it by ear. If you’re having trouble, you can watch Masha Knots’ YouTube tutorial on segment knotting, and it also could be helpful to watch some of her tutorials for other bracelets, because all of those tutorials use segment knotting
