Do any of you have any tips for making the first row of alphas straight? That one seems to be the one that’s most uneven. I do shaped starts so it’s a little hard to use tape.

sometimes tape will make it wonky just by the natures of it,try using a clip bored or safety pin instead. it tends to work better especially for me it does!

I use so much tape I literally tape it down so much you can’t see the place I started it and I’ve never had any issues (except I run out of tape a lot) 😂😂🙈

If you start with alpha triangle ends then it’s way easier to make the first row straight. If you don’t know how to do them, you should watch Masha Knots’ YouTube video called “triangle ends for alphas” (not her older one called “triangle ends on alphas”)
