Masha Knots explains it in her flat alpha technique video.

The straight edges technique for alphas is basically just forward-backward knots on the left and backward-forward knots on the right instead of doing a forward knot and then a backward knot/backward and then a forward.I don't know any tutorials but Masha Knots normally uses it in the alpha tutorials I think. |

all you do is you make backward forward knots on the left most string with your leading string and you make forward backward knots on the right most string with your leading string. there is no need to add two more base strings, like you would with a normal pattern. like the other person said before me, masha knots actually does explain it in her flat alpha tutorial, not her original alpha tutorial. hope that helps! 🙂

I've written a tutorial on it that you can find in the tutorial section:https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/101_the-straight-edges-technique/ |
