How to add a new colour (backward) to an Alpha?

Hi!I'm doing an Alpha rn and i don't know how to add a new colour! I'm in the second row, that means the knot must be backwards, right? I do know how to add a string with a forward knot! Can you please help me? 🙁 Pattern #40823 |

Well you would bring your old leading string up do half a backward knot with the new color string. Bring the new color up and bring the old string down and to the left, before doing the other half of the backward knot. Idk if the made sense.
