When I am making a chevron or any other bracelet that isn't a alpha i get holes in between the nots and I followed some tutorials to see how I could prevent that but it hasn't helped and I am pulling the nots tightly but the holes are still there so if anyone has any tips th a would be appreciated 😊 🙂

you can use string that is all from the same brand . it always helps with the holes. 😄

I know you said that you are pulling the knots tightly, but make sure the first time you knot it is especially tight, because the second is mostly just a filler knot and wont cause as many holes as knotting the first knot loosely would. Also using the type of thread that is less glossy seems to make my bracelets look much neater.

yes that used to happen to me, after making bracelets for a little though i got better at it, but i would recommend using stings of the same thickness or of the same brand to prevent that from happening. DMC is a really good thread brand if you want to try it. it may also be that your string is to small and creating too much distance from the other knots. i don't know if this will help but i hope it does!

Also try to keep your knotting tension consistent

Keeping your knots even and tight really helps. Also, some holes are almost impossible to prevent. It matters if your strings are metallic or regular, and the amount of thickness each strand is.

For me, I use more fibrous thread like cotton. I find that the holes are less noticeable as compared to when you use synthetic materials like nylon or polyester or smth. Hope this helped!

Maybe your accidentally skipping knots? If your tying your knots really tight and you still have holes then maybe that’s what it is?

Something I’ve found to help is pulling the string up, not pulling it from the side when tying the knot. Beyondbracelets on YouTube has a video on it and how to keep holes from being in the bracelet. https://youtu.be/iVKBIE9uMnk

Hello! This has also happened to me and it is still happening when i use one type of string ( string from my local supermarket 😂) wich isn't that good. You could try to change the brand/string you use 😊 I really hope this helped!
