does anyone have a system that is accurate that they can take the number of knots and convert it into inches? someone told me that 13 knots equals one inch so i was just wondering if anyone else has a system like that.

You should measure a bracelet that you’ve made in order to see how long it would be. People knot differently, so their knots are different sizes. Some take up more space than others. Measure on of your bracelets, then see how many rows are in an inch. Then, whenever you want to make a bracelet, divide however many rows it it by however many of your rows are in an inch. This *should* give you an idea of how long it would be

Everyone knotts differently so everybody's knots are different. So I would recommend measuring one of your alpha patterns and seeing how much knots/rows you made in an inch. I usually make 17 knots/rows per inch (I make my knots waaaaay too tight 😛 )

@Example if I know 15 rows to an inch and I want to make a pattern that’s 107 rows long, that’ll be about 7 inches.

I don't know. But one thing I do know is that peoples' knots vary in size because some people tie them tighter than others or they use thicker string.
