hi guys! this is a really weird question so here’s some background:

i have really severe adhd and one of my symptoms is intense sensory issues, especially with fabric. i cant handle scratchy, fuzzy, or dry fabrics. when i’m making bracelets, i have to use string that’s silky and smooth, otherwise i get really overwhelmed.dmc thread is fantastic and never gives me any issue. however it’s very difficult to buy in bulk and i don’t have easy access to it.

so ANYWAYS the question is:
do you know any string that can be bought in bulk off of amazon or the michael’s website that is super silky? whats the softest thread you’ve used?

id really appreciate your input 🥺 thanks yall

I totally understand the sensory issues. Mine is with smells tho. Usually, I just by the large packs of embroidery floss that they have in Walmart. I’ve never noticed it being fuzzy or scratchy, but it’s not really the best quality- just cheap. Maybe someone else can help you better 🙂

Loops and Threads are really nice and can usually be found at Wal-Mart or Micheals. Otherwise I buy really thin crochet thread at the does the job nicely
