@natalie67 personally I don’t think you need a clipboard for making bracelets, if you really wanted one you could even just use a piece of cardboard and a clip. When I make bracelets I generally use a bulldog clip and anything close to me to clip it onto ( even sometimes my shorts) some people prefer to use a clipboard but I don’t think it is nessesary

@natalie67 I used a clipboard for a long time but now I just clip a binder clip to a hardcover children’s book (because it’s large, hard, and flat like a clipboard). In my experience the binder clip actually holds the bracelet way better than a clipboard does

@panpan4evr To get to the pattern maker, go to the website and hover over your username in the upper right corner, then click “create patterns”. If you don’t know how to go about creating your own pattern, there’s a tutorial on it in the tutorials section

Are there any ways to make the back of your normal bracelet look neater on the back when you have to ask more stings? mine just looks like there is just a bit of wool sticking out and it looks really messy. and suggestions on how I can fix this

@fluffy08 well it’s annoying when you run out of strings!! To avoid it in the future, cut strings longer and for the bracelet with strings poking out well I tie them all together and then put nail polish on to them so they stick to the back of the bracelet but you can use fabric glue

thanks I will have to try that next time I make my next one (I'm working on one at the moment) so it looks neater because I'm make some for my family and friends so I like the back to look neat.

I am trying out my first alpha and i tried making a triangle end, but now It’s not straight. It turned out shaped like a bow. Is there any way to fix it or avoid it if I retry it?

@GoToBed sorry I was sleeping but anyways, well how did you do the triangle ends, because the way to do triangle ends on an alpha is different to a normal pattern!!! I’m not sure you can fix it now (unless you undo the whole thing...) but for future experience I suppose looking at a triangle ends for alphas video, if you did the triangle ends for the ALPHA here than perhaps it would be maybe 1. String consistency 2. Knot consistency. Hope this helps and if not I’m so sorry!! I have never experienced this before so I just tried my best to help!!!

Hi everyone! So I started making a pattern yesterday how do I save the progress on it?? Also if I want to close out of bracelet book and then come back in where would I find my pattern(in progress)? Thanks

@ellaflynn , so long as you press the “save and test” button after finishing it will save. You would find it where you would normally go to make a new pattern and your pattern will be there and you just press on the button and then it will take you to the page!!

Hello, i will try alpha patterns for the first time so please help me. How many rows i should knit in total? My wrist is 15 cm. Dimensions says 10x81. Is it too long? 🤔

@lin99 well it all depends on what string you have and how tight your knots are. For me one knot is roughly like 1 or 2 millimetres each so 80 knots would be 8cm (roughly) maybe you could double it if you want it to be as long as 15 cm but I suggest you just go how you like and see what you think once finished the pattern

@lin99 remember this is just roughly and also for me not you so don’t expect it to be exactly 8 cm!!! - hope this helped
