I personally find that a wingspan is too long if you're making a thinner bracelet. It can be kind of frustrating to work with such long strings that get tangled all the time. I like to hold mine in my right hand and stretch it all the way to my left shoulder and cut it off around there. It's easier to work with and I always have enough. If you plan on making a loop just double that length and fold it over (:

Well it depends on what type of bracelet you're making. If you're making a normal bracelet than a meter, unless you're folding it in half which then it would be 2 meters. If your making an alpha then it just depends on the size of the alpha. Hope this helps! 😊 😉

A meter for one string, two meters for loops. I add an extra foot-foot 1/2 for the string/strings aking the loop. I add 4 iches for ties, and double that if the ties are on bothe sides.

I usually cut my string 4-6 feet long because I would rather have extra string because I use scrap thread in alphas. If I don't have enough string I would have to reinsert string and I really hate doing that. So in my opinion cut it way longer than you think you would need.
