Does anyone have any good starter alphas. I want to try one but I don’t know what one to start with? Also ( not to sound selfish) feel free to follow me because I like to make new friends

I would go into the patterns and put on the filters for alphas (obviously haha), 8-12 strings, and 2-3 colors and then pick one that you like, make sure it doesn’t have too many color switches though so that you don’t get overwhelmed! Have fun and good luck, I hope this helps!

I would also say, don’t get one with to many rows. I would also watch some of Masha knot’s alpha videos

Instead of starting with a full bracelet maybe try making a keychain! they tend to be really cute and a good way to work on consistency of knot tightness without using much string.

Maybe you can generate a name bracelet on the website using type alpha! It would only be like 2 colors and and probably at most would require 10 base strings!

Haha I probably sound dumb but I’m REALLY new to all this. Lol I put the NEW in NEWBIE. But anyway what’s an alpha. Just curious. I’d like to start learning what everything means about bracelets 🙂

Hey yall I need help with something. I just uploaded a photo on here and I can’t find it anywhere. I checked where I posted it. I let it load and it does not show. Does it have to be accepted before people can see it?

@AnnieGrace The photo is in the process of reviewing. When photos, patterns, and variations are submitted the disappear from your view. When a moderator accepts it, you will be able to see it. If a moderator declines it, you will get the photo, pattern, or variation back and with that will be a note saying why they declined it so you could fix whatever it was.

@hinman28 in alpha bracelets you knot row wise and switch colours in between to create a pattern. It contains base strings (the strings on which you knot) and leading string (the string you knot with). If you want to learn how to make them you can check the videos’ or tutorials’ sections.

@hinman828 hi!! Don’t even worry about it! We were all new at to everything at some point! Alpha bracelets are different from the bracelets because you have “base strings” that you tie on knots too with a leading string/s. I’m not really good at explaining but here is a guide to general bracelet stuff from Masha knots https://youtu.be/UYQnqb-20NA Alpha bracelets start at about the 7:00 min mark 🙂
