I need help. Every time I try to do a teardrop loop it ends up looking like a half circle. What am I doing wrong?

Try adjusting the number of knots in your loop!

The loop itself is suppose to look like a half circle, are you talking about the basic loop or the full teardrop loop?

I’m talking about the full teardrop loop. The bottom half always ends up flat instead of pointed.

To get the typical teardrop shape you can't start in a straight line. You have to make a shaped start that is basically an upside down triangle start.

How big are the patterns you’re doing teardrop loops with? The smaller the pattern, the more flat the bottom half of the teardrop loop will appear

Are you meaning like if the pattern has an upside down triangle in it then you start along that?

Do you see the gray string creating the chevron? Use that as your guideline for the shape. If you don't understand what I'm saying, watch masha knots's wishbone chevron video.
