So, I am in the middle of #20794, which is an alpha pattern that has some vertical lines, and when I do the knots for those lines it's separated from the rest of the bracelet. I would like to know if there is any way of preventing this. I've watched Masha Knots' video on flat alphas, but she doesn't exactly explain how to use that technique for verticle lines. If there is another video I can watch that explains this I would appreciate it if you could put the link or if you know how to explain it that would be great. 🙂

Try Kinsey B’s tutorial called how to read alpha patterns. When I was learning to read alpha patterns my knots were separated to ☹️. I went to YouTube and saw Kinsey B’s tutorial on it and it helped me so much!

And make sure your using your fingers to push the knots. If your knots aren’t in the right place then watch Masha Knots fixing mistakes video for more guidance. Hope this helps 😁

The flat alpha technique isn’t different for vertical lines. Just do your color switches the way she teaches in the video

When you're doing the flat alpha technique the pattern shouldn't separate. It should help prevent this compared to the regular alpha technique.
