Hi Guys,I have a problem. I want to make a a large alpha (30-40 strings) but every time I try to knot the first row, it bunches up and looks weird. ( I am not doing any fancy type of starter for my bracelets, just the normal loop) can anyone please help me find a good one? |

there's a few things you can do. I run into the same problem, if you can manage to sort through what knots are what you can mkeep going and it will even out on it's own. Or you can use multiple loops at the start so the strings aren't all fighting for the same limited space. , Or you could try using a clipboard, eliminating the loops all together, and thus making your bracelet straight and flush with the clipboard. then you can just braid them off like you do at the end of a bracelet.

What i do (since i use a clipboard as well) you can tie each color into seperate knots or if you only have two colors you can tie several knots push them under the clipboard and start with your weaving string. It still will be sort of bunched up put more rows and time will make it straight and also when i finish i take my many knots out at the top and make braids where the knots were
