I always add a dot of clear glue/clear nail polish to make sure they don’t come undone too

I cut them flat to the back of the bracelet. Unless it’s a single knot of colour I don’t put anything on it myself and haven’t had any problems.

i twist both sides of the strings and make the bracelet adjustable

No. If you are worried about that take clear nail polish or glue down on the nibs of the cut of strings. That will ensure they wont come untied. 🙂

I cut them as short as I can and then use clear nail polish to secure the ends
